[Coating Example] TiN Film Coating on Ti Substrate

We will conduct a jig prototype to enable full coating and achieve comprehensive coating.

We received an inquiry from the School of Dentistry at Tohoku University asking, "Could you apply a TiN film coating on a special Ti substrate without leaving any attachment marks on both sides?" With the know-how we have cultivated, we can manufacture jigs that leave minimal attachment marks. We created a dummy of the actual product size and developed a dedicated jig for prototyping. When it comes to TiN film coating, as well as other coatings, it is necessary to have attachment areas for setting up the device during the coating process. Since the coating film generally does not adhere to the attachment areas, achieving a complete coating on the entire surface of the finished product becomes difficult.
